How to Use NetNote: Normal Mode

You just met someone interesting. You talked for ten minutes. You have their name, their company, the thing you said you'd send them.

Give it two days. It's gone.

That's the exact problem NetNote solves. Normal Mode is the everyday flow, the one you'll use after a coffee chat, a class, or a random conversation that turns out to matter. (Conference Mode gets its own guide, coming soon.)

(Watch the full walkthrough below)

Step 1: Meet someone

This part is on you. Go to the event, the meetup, the career fair. Have the conversation.

Step 2: Open NetNote and hit record

Right after the conversation, while it's still fresh, open the app and tap record. Then just talk. Like you're telling a friend about the person you just met:

"Just met Lauren Brooks, she's a product manager at Stripe, we talked about payments in emerging markets, she went to BU, I said I'd send her my deck by Friday."

No structure needed. No filling out forms. Just talk.

Step 3: Let the AI do the boring part

NetNote transcribes your voice note and turns it into a structured contact card. Name, company, role, what you talked about, where you met. It tags the contact automatically so you can find them later.

That quick voice memo becomes a card you can actually use.

Step 4: Set your follow-up

Said you'd send something? Promised an intro? Add a follow-up reminder right on the card. NetNote nudges you before you forget, which is the whole point.

Step 5: Find anyone, anytime

A month later, when you're thinking "who was that person who worked in payments?", just search. Search by name, company, topic, or where you met them. The card pulls up with the full context of your conversation.

LinkedIn tells you who you know. NetNote tells you why you know them.

A few tips

Record right away. The best voice notes happen within five minutes of the conversation. Details fade fast.

Mention the follow-up out loud. If you say "I told her I'd email her Tuesday" in your voice note, that context lands on the card.

Don't overthink it. Rambling is fine. The AI sorts it out.

That's it

Meet. Talk. Never forget.

NetNote is free to Download.
