Frequently Asked Questions
How do I record a voice note?
Open the Home page and tap the large microphone button. Grant microphone access if iOS prompts you. When you're done speaking, tap the microphone again to stop and have the audio transcribed. You can edit the transcript before saving.
Transcription is handled by Google's Gemini API; recordings are not retained on our servers. See the privacy policy at netnoteapp.com/privacy for details.
The microphone permission was denied.
How do I re-enable it?
Open the iOS Settings app, scroll down to NetNote, and toggle Microphone back on. Restart the app afterward.
How do I sync my contacts across devices?
Tap Account in the sidebar, then sign in with your email and password. Once signed in, every contact is mirrored to our servers automatically and pulled down on your other devices.
Can I try the app without an account?
Yes. On the sign-in screen, tap Try as Guest. Your data lives only on the device until you create an account.
How do I delete my account?
From Account, tap Delete Account, re-enter your password, and confirm. This permanently deletes your account, every contact you saved, and every task you created. See our delete-account page at netnoteapp.com/delete-account for the full description.

Reporting a Bug
When emailing about a bug, please include the following details to help our team investigate and resolve the issue quickly:
- Device model and iOS version (Settings > General > About)
- What you were trying to do
- What happened instead
- A screen recording if possible
